LGBTQIA+ History Month Movie Night
The Imitation Game
As part of LGBTQIA+ History Month, join us at Marriott’s Warehouse for a special community film night screening of The Imitation Game, presented in conjunction with the King’s Lynn Community Cinema Club and King’s Lynn & West-Norfolk Pride.
The event starts at 18:00 upstairs, with doors opening to a display and short presentation celebrating LGBTQIA+ scientists, thinkers, and innovators throughout history. Individuals whose ideas changed the world, often without recognition or acceptance in their own time.
At 19:00, we’ll sit down for The Imitation Game, which tells the story of Alan Turing and the codebreakers of Bletchley Park during the Second World War, and reflects on themes of identity, difference, and the personal cost of being LGBTQIA+ in a less accepting society.
The film will finish at approximately 21:30.
🎟 Free entry (donations appreciated)
